Works for some—not all—plugins and built-in menu items (3 stars)

I’ve installed the plugin to simplify the increasingly complex admin menu of a client’s site, and I’ve had moderate success with hiding or changing the permission requirements to access certain plugins and built-in menu items.

Some menu items continue to show up, however. These include YayMail’s and YoastSEO’s admin menu items, which remain visible to the editor role, even when hidden and limited to administrators, as does the built-in “tools” admin page.

There’s certainly a need for a plugin to manage the admin menu, but this one doesn’t quite do the job yet.
